U14 Post 8 Baseball Team

The U14 Baseball Team won the Brookings Cubby’s Classic this last weekend.  After losing the first game in extra innings, they won the next four games to beat Mitchell U14 3-1 in the Championship Game.

The Post 8 Board is looking for a bus driver for the 2025 season.  Please check out the Employment Tab if you are interested in applying.

The Post 8 Board of Directors wants to welcome Nick Palecek, Brittney Hunsley, Chas Olson, and Cash Anderson to the Board of Directors.  Each new board member has a lot to contribute to the success of Post 8.  The Board also wants to thank Rob Coverdale, Seth Doyle, Lorraine Polak and Kacy Kienholz for their years of service.

Congratulations to Kirk Van Roekel, the new Secretary of the Board of Directors and Nick Palecek, the new Treasurer of the Board of Directors.  Derek Schiefelbein will take over the Finance Committee.  Please reach out to Derek if you would like to be on the Committee.  Tyson Lindekugel will continue to serve as President and a member of the executive committee.

Congratulations to the 18th Annual Joe Kirley Memorial Tournament Champions, the U14 Aberdeen Team.  This was a special tournament as we celebrated what would have been Joe Kirley’s 100th birthday.  Post 8 wants to thank the Kirley Family for their continued support of Post 8.  Also, congratulations to the U13 Pierre Post 8 team on second place and the U14 Pierre Post 8 team on third place.
