Thursday Night Post 8 Legion Game by Dan Hoblick KCCR Radio

Post 8 visited Mitchell for one 9-inning game at Cadwell Park Thursday night. The offense showed signs of life early with a two run double by Gage Curtis in the top of the first inning. Post 8 did not score another run until the top of the 9th, when Shay Reinke reached on a fielder's choice scoring Cash Anderson. Ryan Goodwin took the loss on the mound, as the Post 8 squad lost 9-3 to the Kernels. Post 8 drops their record to 8-10-1 overall and will continue play today. Post 8 is in Brookings for another weekend tournament. Post 8 will play Clear Lake at 11:15 this morning and Vermillion in the afternoon at 1:30.
