Third-inning rally sparks blowout win for Pierre Post 8 16U Green Sox, 15-0

A nine-run explosion in the third inning led Pierre Post eight 16U Green Sox to a 15-0 win in three innings over Miller at Miller on Sunday.

Pierre Post eight 16U Green Sox scored in the third on an RBI single by Will Ellwanger, a bases loaded walk by Deboer, an RBI single by Matt Pease, a two-run error, an RBI double by Slater Pauly, an error, an RBI single by Steven Rae, and a sacrifice fly by Camden Espelans.

Will put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Pierre Post eight 16U Green Sox.

 Miller's lineup had no answer for Jesse Gates. Miller managed just one hit off of the Pierre Post eight 16U Green Sox's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Bruggeman ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
