The bats were busy at Cadwell - Mitchell on Thursday, and when the dust cleared Pierre Post eight Baseball had a 10-8 win over Mitchell Post 18 in seven innings.

The teams combined for 26 hits, including four extra base hits.

Pierre Post eight Baseball held off Mitchell Post 18, as Mitchell Post 18 was unable to overcome a six-run third inning deficit.

Mitchell Post 18 scored on an RBI single by Elijah Pommer and an RBI single by Ross Yeo in the third inning and a wild pitch, an RBI single by Yeo, and an RBI single by Spencer Neugebauer in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, Mitchell Post 18 wasn't able to take the lead back.

Nick Rabern racked up three RBIs on four hits for Pierre Post eight Baseball. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second, third, and seventh innings.

Pierre Post eight Baseball never trailed after scoring one run in the first on a sacrifice fly by Landon Badger.

After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the second, Mitchell Post 18 faced just a 4-3 deficit. An RBI double by Neugebauer and a two-run single by Jed Schmidt fueled Mitchell Post 18's comeback. Finally, Spencer Sarringar induced an inning-ending fly out from Landon Neugebauer.

Pierre Post eight Baseball added five more runs in the top of the third. A bases loaded walk scored Quinn Reimers for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Conner Gerber's single, plating Bennett Eisenbeisz.

BinkeQuinn Reimers did all he could to give Pierre Post eight Baseball a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Mitchell Post 18, as Pierre Post eight Baseball lost 7-6 in seven innings at Cadwell - Mitchell on Thursday.

Reimers racked up four RBIs on two hits for Pierre Post eight Baseball. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Dylanger Pierson, Spencer Neugebauer and Jed Schmidt helped lead Mitchell Post 18. They combined for five hits and two RBIs.

Pierre Post eight Baseball jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the third. The Pierre Post eight Baseball attack began with a single from Justin Berheim. A stolen base then moved Berheim from first to second. Reimers doubled, plating Berheim and Landon Badger.

Mitchell Post 18 survived Pierre Post eight Baseball's surge and put up four runs of its own in the third. Mitchell Post 18 scored on a solo home run by Neugebauer, an RBI single by Sam Michels, a sacrifice fly by Elijah Pommer, and an RBI single by Ryland DeVries.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Mitchell Post 18 scored one run on an error.

Two runs in the top of the seventh helped Pierre Post eight Baseball close its deficit to 7-6. An RBI double by Spencer Sarringar and a groundout by Cooper Carter set off Pierre Post eight Baseball rally. Finally, Pierson got Conner Gerber to ground out to end the game.
